The 2017 Russian Drilling Roundtable (RDCR) has named Halliburton its Service Company of the Year.
Now in its fifth year, the RDCR is a unique gathering of drilling professionals from leading drilling contractors and regional operators. Participants interact with Russian and international suppliers of rig and drilling equipment, exchanging information and knowledge, promoting the latest available technologies, and discussing market trends and the development and upgrading of Russia’s drilling fleet. The largest gathering of drilling professionals in Russia, this year’s event in Moscow drew 257 delegates representing 135 companies and organizations.
Halliburton was recognized by the Russian Drilling Roundtable as its 2017 Service Company of the Year.
The atmosphere of the forum was open and informal, encouraging participants from drilling companies and key operators to engage in in-depth discussions of current market trends and growth prospects. Specific topics included well-completion services, multilateral wells and oil-based mud drilling.
The awards were presented during a special ceremony held at the event.
Award recipients were selected by the regional operators in Russia. The operators received a list of questions covering the main criteria for identifying a “best service company” — equipment, service, and more — and Halliburton received the highest scores. Nikolay Rybin, account manager for Rosneft, received the award on behalf of Halliburton.
Graeme Taylor, Halliburton vice president for Russia, noted that the award reflects the Company’s strong, growing position in the region.
“Halliburton has had a presence in Russia since 1992, and we’re focused on discovering new solutions for developing and producing oil and gas assets,” Taylor said. “It’s a great honor to be recognized by the roundtable with this award — it shows how hard the entire Russia team is working, and how well they’re executing.”
